2012 Summer Sr. High Mission Trip

It’s almost that time again friends!

Sign up deadline is March 25th, by then we need forms (Click here to download Permission Forms) and a $100 deposit, which we hope will be all you have to pay!

If you’re interested, let Pastor Mark know via email (dfmcyouth@gmail.com) to start getting information on Fundraising opportunities, and all updates regarding the trip! Hope you can come with us and feed the hungry, clothe the naked, help the sick, and all the while hopefully tell some folks about Jesus Christ!

Also, FYI, here is a brief description of the camp we’ll be working at from our coordinator for the week, Josh:

Housing: You will be sleeping on bunk-beds so please bring sheets or sleeping bags to sleep on. There will be a max of about 20 per apartment. These apartments are unfurnished and have a shower and toilet in each. There will be other showers and bathroom facilities on other floors that you will be able to use. Please bring fans!
Worksites: The type of work we do in Washington DC is relational-based ministry.  The types of projects are generally things like: Homeless ministry, working with kids, soup kitchens, elderly and gleaning.  We work very hard to make sure your group get an overall experience of working different ministries, however, it is very hard to determine what that will look like in advance.    Because of all of these factors, you should be prepared for any of the above projects, and also understand that you will be given your project assignment upon arriving to camp. You are coming to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus so please be FLEXIBLE!
