Bible Study/Fellowship groups

Community Group Ministry and Opportunities.

“At Dearborn Free Methodist Church, we believe in the power of community.  When people walk the path together, each individual gets the chance to receive—and offer—acceptance, encouragement, guidance, friendship and support.  Just as iron sharpens iron, members of a community sharpen each other. People learn and apply more in the company of others than one person can on their own.” (adapted from A Place Where No One Climbs Alone).

Consider joining (or starting) a small group where we can become more and better disciples of Jesus Christ.  Here are some current groups you may want to join:

Sundays – Prayer group meets at 6:00pm. The group exists to pray for the Body of Christ—the church and its members.  Contact Bob Morley (313)563-1379 or Ken Stevens (313)565-2392.

Mondays – Men’s Bible Study led by Michael Smith, meets at 7:00pm in the library.

Tuesdays – Men’s prayer group meets in the church sanctuary at 6:30 am. They come together to bring petitions for our church and each other before the Lord.  Contact Tim Kostaroff at (313) 274-7747.

Tuesdays – Men’s Bible study and fellowship meets every other Tuesday at 7:00 at the home of Paul Kwasniewski.  The group meets to study and discuss biblical concepts and determine the best way to apply them to their lives in order to become like Jesus.  Contact Paul Kwasniewski at (313)561-8774.

Wednesdays – Adult Choir meets in Room 111 at 7:00 pm.  The choir meets to sing praises to the Lord and to give encouragement to the congregation.  Christmas Choir meets at 7:45. Contact Jon Smith at (313)274-7884.
