A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you ...
John 13:34
In addition to caring for our community, we love and care for one another. Caring for the church family is the responsibility of the whole church, not just the pastor. Our goal is to be a church that cares for one another and doesn’t just depend on a few people to provide care.

people care functions
We care for each other in many ways and our Care Team leads that effort through the following:
- Visitation - When any of us are in recovery or just need of companionship, we are there for each other.
- Cards - Sending cards to one another is one of the many ways we love and care for each other.
- Calls - At times, we all need someone to talk to or just someone to see how we are doing.
- Prayer - We share our prayer requests with each other and pray for each other when alone and in small and large groups.
- Initial Counseling - Our pastoral staff will provide initial counseling for someone who requests it and will refer them to a professional if/when needed.
- Benevolence - At times, our people have a short term financial need that requires immediate action. We do our best to help in those times.
- Meals - We provide meals for each other at times when family life is disrupted due to events such as: surgeries, hospitalization, births, and deaths.
