Mission & Vision

Today young adults and families must navigate the challenges of a fractured and rapidly changing world. They need the church to be a source of inspiration, providing the refreshing waters of the hope of Jesus Christ.  DFMC envisions transcending barriers, providing hope, and bringing the all-encompassing love of Jesus to every soul, regardless of background or circumstance.

DFMC aspires to become a dynamic life-giving stream that engages, uplifts, and propels individuals toward their fullest potential in Jesus Christ. It will nourish the hearts and souls of young adults and families with the transformative love of Jesus.

We envision cultivating a network of churches,  embracing the open spaces of the community to reach young adults and families in Dearborn and Dearborn Heights … and eventually to the rest of Metro Detroit. These open spaces include coffee shops, homes, community centers and any other place where people meet.  As the stream flows it leaves a legacy of transformed lives, vibrant communities, and a world touched by the grace and compassion of Jesus.
